Design and manufacturing
Design and manufacturing work hand in hand to create a high quality product. By manufacturing the components of our products ourselves in-house, we have full control of quality throughout the entire production process.
Quality is our priority
All machining and assembly technicians take personal responsibility from programming to finished part. This is an integral part of the Tractive quality assurance.
Some machines you can find at Tractive AB
DMC Deckel Maho V70 Linear Vertical Machining Centre
Plastic parts are machined in our DMC Deckel Maho V70 Linear Vertical Machining Centre.
5-axis Huron EX30
Large parts are machined in our 5-axis Huron EX30. X-axis stroke 2400 mm, Y-axis 800, Z-axis 800 mm, B-axis +- 100°, full contouring C-axis. 100 – 14.000 RPM, 25 kW.
Studer S31 and S36 CNC Grinding Machines
The S31 is a universal 5-axis CNC-controlled grinding machine.
Tolerances within 0.002 mm are routinely achieved. The S36 is a CNC controlled grinding machine for external grinding. Internal grinding is done on the S31 and a Reinecker CNC internal grinding machine.
Höfler Helix 400 KK gear grinding machine
Routinely produces gears meeting DIN 1 – 2 specifications. For up to Ø 400 mm gears.
Gear shaping machines
Various gear shaping machines are used for cutting external and internal splines.
CNC Gear hobbing and Shaping Machines
Two 6-axis CNC Pfauter Gear Hobbing machines use specially designed tooling to generate computer designed gear tooth profiles. All gears are inspected before and after heat treatment, before gear tooth profile grindingn, and are finished using spezialized tooling and processing methods.
Niigata PN40
We keep a Niigata PN40 machining centre for production of tooling and some simpler prototype parts.
